Do Brazilian blowouts cause hair loss?

A Brazilian blowout sounds nice and is a hair treatment that helps straighten hair but it contains formaldehyde chemicals inside the treatment in order to straighten the hair. The chemicals and heat used in the treatment can weaken hair shafts, break off and cause hair loss. Other potential side effects include dry brittle hair, hair patchiness and scalp irritation. So please reconsider if you are already struggling with hair troubles!
