hi, I used keranique and it had some kind of methol or mint in it. At least it felt like it did. I imagine it probably does work, but I only used it once because it had soo much of a cooling sensation on my scalp. I didn't want to keep using it and I absolutely couldn't imagine using it during the winter months right before bed because it's too cold to use!
